Firm gives goodies to guests

THE heat was on at the Maybank Malaysia Open 2009, held at the Saujana Golf & Country Club, as world class players competed for the top spot. But while the players kept the game sizzling, the employees of Etiqa Insurance & Takaful kept the crowd refreshed and protected. The staff braved the hot sun as they handed out cold drinks to the spectators, who were trudging the nines to watch their favourite players.

And to help protect them from the scorching sun, umbrellas were handed out to the lucky patrons.

The company’s CEO Datuk Aminuddin Md Desa said that they wanted to be known as a helpful organisation.
“We wanted the crowd to enjoy the game, and make this an enjoyable and memorable experience,” Aminuddin said. The other extra treat from the company was the Etiqa Hospitality Marquee, where the guests were invited not only to watch the game up-close but also receive relaxing back massages and foot reflexology.

They were also treated to personalised caps and T-shirts and a buffet spread. The final icing on the cake was the exclusive goodie bags with Etiqa merchandise.
